SERVING OTHERS

The Serving Others Team provides a number of community support ministries.  The ministries listed below are an example of the work being done. These are ministries of service or mercy!

• Lutheran Mission Society Compassion Center
• 
• Community Cafe- Which offers free meals to all who come at First United Methodist Church of Hyattsville 
• Commuinty Service Day- Where member of Redeemer go into the community and pick up litter, shelve books and clean at the library, and collect food for local food pantries at the local Giant Store.
• CROP Hunger Walk
• Safe Heaven Men's Shelter
• Provide Voluteeers to our local Meals on Wheels

The Greek word Diakonia means service.
